Two Georgia women arrested after shoplifting spree at Aiken mall
Gia P. Hegre, 44, of Grovetown and Paula P. Kaylor, 58, of Appling, Ga., were arrested after Dillard's staff reported a theft attempt. Police found 11 unpurchased items from the children’s section hidden in a shopping cart and a car full of newly bought goods. Kaylor alleged a Sears theft and both were held at the Aiken County detention center.

Charleston man added to APS's Most Wanted
Malcolm Kareem Wilson of Charleston is sought by Aiken Public Safety on five counts of financial transaction card fraud. Police say he stole credit cards from an unattended vehicle, charged about 96,000 in three hours, including 2,000 at a jewelry store and 4,000 at two home improvement stores and Wal-Mart. He has prior property crime convictions and is linked to a theft at H Odell Weeks Center. Call 642-7620 with tips.
