About 200 worshippers gathered for a multi church Thanksgiving service in Aiken. Rev Kenneth Nelson of St. John's United Methodist Church challenged the crowd to focus on giving thanks rather than simply celebrating the holiday. He urged gratitude to God for blessings to America and drew parallels to the biblical Israelites led by Moses. The service included scripture readings and prayers and donated offerings to ACTS.
