NASD Sues Dean Witter Over Elderly Investor Losses

The NASD accuses Dean Witter Reynolds and two executives of fraudulently marketing Term Trusts as safe bonds to thousands of elderly investors in the early 1990s. About 30,000 lost $65 million when 1994 value dropped. Dean Witter disputes the allegations.
