Citicoline Fails To Help Brain Injury Patients In Large Study
In a major randomized trial at eight U.S. trauma centers 1,213 adults with mild to severe brain injuries received 2,000 mg daily of citicoline or a placebo within 24 hours of injury for three months. Six months of follow up showed no advantage in memory, attention, or learning.
