North Augusta paves path for Sunday beer wine sales
North Augusta moves toward Sunday alcohol sales with on premise beer and wine allowed by existing permits. Restaurants with beer and wine licenses can serve drinks Sunday from midnight Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday where applicable setback. SCDOR reviewing and issuing permits for on premise liquor by the drink and off premise beer and wine will take a few weeks. City Administrator Todd Glover said eligibility hinges on local approvals and permit readiness.
