Whiskey Road signals expanded to 17 intersections in Aiken
City manager Roger LeDuc tells the South Carolina Sub committee that the Whiskey Road project grew beyond its original scope. The plan now networks 17 intersections with smart signals, ditches will be filled on the east side, streetscaping kept to a minimum, and sidewalks removed due to cost. Aiken commits 400 000 to 500 000 from one cent sales tax funds while federal and state partners review final plans with USDOT.
