Augusta hospital denied CON for Aiken beds dispute
University Hospital in Augusta had a Certificate of Need denial for a 50 bed general acute care hospital in Aiken after DHEC found Aiken Regional Medical Centers more suited to meet the region's bed needs. Ed Burr says review is sought and options remain.
