Mills Returns as Busbee Principal After Years in District
John Mills, who grew up in Flint and studied special education, will become Busbee Elementary School principal after serving as assistant principal at Busbee in 2000 01 and later at Lexington Elementary and White Knoll Elementary in Lexington District 1. He succeeds King Laurence, who moves to the Aiken County School District office. Mills credits his life changing work with a young woman with Down Syndrome for guiding his career toward special education and administration.
