Start Small drive yields large food and funds haul
The Start Small, Inc. campaign for Gold en Harvest Food Bank gathered 2,400 volunteers across 158 neighborhoods in a seven county CSRA area. They collected over 86 000 pounds of food and more than 46 000 dollars. Operational Poedon Air Force Senior Airman Quinten J Hightower is deployed overseas supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is the grandson of Maggie M Hightower and son of Linda F Hightower of Williston. His wife Adrienne is Katherine Patten's daughter of Edgefield Highway Aiken. Hightower is a 1997 graduate of South Aiken High School. Good Citizens at Greendale Elementary named for November include Kindergarten.
