Minnesota officer charged with second degree manslaughter

St Paul area case involves St Anthony officer Jeronimo Yanez charged with second degree manslaughter in the July 6 fatal shooting of Philando Castile during a traffic stop. Prosecutors say the officer acted unreasonably, Castile cooperated, and no gun was drawn until after the fatal shot.

Police Airport shooting blamed on workplace revenge

Oklahoma City police say Lloyd Buie shot Southwest Airlines employee Michael Winchester from a fourth floor parking garage, possibly to retaliate after Buie lost his job with the airline. Buie was later found dead in his pickup, believed to have killed himself. Winchester, a ramp supervisor and former Oklahoma Sooners player, had 29 years with Southwest. James Winchester, his son, plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
