The NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt opens at the Etherredge Center on the University of South Carolina Aiken campus with 32 panels commemorating individuals who died of AIDS. The exhibit features 83,000 names to be read aloud during the run through November 19, daily 9 am to 8 pm, 9 am to 5 pm on the final day.
