Home Spun Prepares Christmas in Aiken Antique Shop
Beverly Clark owner of Home Spun in downtown Aiken plans a special Christmas season with a Thanksgiving weekend open house. The store specializes in primitive American furniture and handmade ornaments with wreaths on display. Clark renovated the old Park View Hotel lobby into a functional shop featuring curved desk and historic mail slots. She repurposes damaged quilts into framed art or pillows and makes wreaths and lamps with cloth shades. Her family supports the venture as she expands into reproductions and modern items that fit American Primitive decor.
