Drought Dampens Northside Bait and Tackle Sales
Lindy Lott of Northside Bait and Tackle says the drought slows business while Lake Murray sees water levels around 350 to 352 feet, well below full pool. Bart on Bait Distributors notes low water makes fishing risky and boats hard to use as CSRA lakes drop. Joy Downs of the Lake Murray Association calls for only a few inches higher water if drought persists and predicts minimal rain today with a 50 percent chance.
