County Council Tables Greenhouse Rezoning in Aiken
Aiken County Council tabled an ordinance that would rezone 27 acres in a Quail Hollow area from residential conservation to residential development to permit a greenhouse. The move drew opposition from nearby residents who feared property value erosion. The proposal, tied to RC zoning, faces state use variance law review and likely will return to the Planning Commission for study before final action.
