Aiken public park plan debated by residents and officials
Glenn Parker and Clemson's Dr. Bob Brookover lead city discussions on Northside park and Eustis Park Senior Youth Center funding. Current allocations include 2.65 million for a landfill park, 4.5 million for the youth center, nearly 2 million for a Northside facility, and 0.5 million for land purchase. Residents push to move from talks to action, seeking unified city development and tangible progress, with a public presentation scheduled for Thursday morning at the Municipal Building.
