Mom accused of abduction transported back to Aiken
Veronica Kirby a 29 year old mother accused of abducting her two children Trinity Michelle and Issac Hunter from their custodial father Ed Kirby in early September and fleeing the state has been transported back to Aiken. Police in Albuquerque arrested her after investigators traced her to New Mexico and brought her back to face two counts of transporting a child under 16 out of state with bond set at 5000 on each charge.

Indicted Suspect Charged With Mail Theft in Aiken County
Stephen Henry Finch 38 of Campobello is named in a nine count indictment for stealing checks from the United States Mail in Graniteville Aiken Warrenville and North Augusta on nine October 2005 incidents. Each offense carries up to 250000 fine and five years imprisonment. USPS Inspectors investigated and Anne Hunter Young of Columbia prosecutes.
