Steelworkers seek release of SRS documents on DuPont actions

Death tied to strange burglary at Lyon Drive home

Veterans Pay Visit at Jefferson Elementary Veteran’s Day Program

From classmates to Marines brothers in arms in 1938

Three Mississippi State College students from Indianola read a recruitment poster in New Orleans and joined the Marines in 1938. Jones, Copeland and Renaldo left for San Diego for four year hitches, with Copeland later captured on Bataan in 1942 and Renaldo never leaving the United States. Jones survived World War II and earned the Bronze Star.
