Name This Court House Portrait Sparks Local ID Debate
A photo submitted by Eleanor Weatherford prompts readers to identify a 1940s building in Aiken. The Aiken Standard misidentified it as the Aiken County Courthouse, with guesses ranging to Fairfield County in Winnsboro and Barnwell County. Some mills-designed courthouses resemble the pictured structure, and alterations since the 1940s are possible. Readers with information should email editorial aikenstanard.com.
