Third graders receive dictionaries in Aiken County
About 2,200 dictionaries were delivered to public private and home school third graders by three Aiken Rotary Clubs. Superintendent Dr Beth Everitt and Rotary leaders praised the project noting the books offer biographies state and country information and the longest word.

A book by SREL alumni Michael Dorcas and John Willson titled Invasive Pythons in the United States Ecology of an Introduced Predator has been published by University of Georgia Press. The paperback costs 24.95 and features full color illustrations and the cover notes praise its factual scientific presentation and strong photography.
