The award includes a $3,000 scholarship from SCANA Corp for exceptional leadership, with Tenise recognized for her roles in FESA, NHS, and Math Science Engineering and Tech enrichment participation. The SC Business Week event, held July 19-19 at Erskine College, is a collaborative effort among the SC Chamber the Department of Education the School Administrators Association and the SC Council for Economic Education.

Statewide Academic Meet Set for Tomorrow at Aiken High
Sixty four high school teams from three states will compete in the annual Aiken Triple Crown Academic Challenge hosted by Aiken High School. South Aiken High School will field its A team and a younger squad while Aiken High sits out. Preliminary matches include South Aiken against Lake View at about 9 am with further games against Greenwood, Dodge City, Ga, Irma, and Windsor Forest HS. Survivors advance to afternoon single elimination. The event tests general knowledge and quick recall.
