A USC Aiken survey of greater Aiken residents in exchanges 648 642 and 649 finds 62 percent backing George Bush 107 of 172 respondents with 16 percent for Dukakis and 19 percent undecided. Voters view Dukakis as out of mainstream and favor Bush’s negative campaigning.
