Two Aiken residents charged after Arbor Terrace assault
An officer found four people arguing outside an Arbor Terrace residence where an 18 year old homeowner was injured. Shawiday Cassandra Pope and her sister followed the homeowner to the location. Pope attacked her while her sister tried to intervene. Pope was charged with third degree assault and battery. Simpkins faced weapons and marijuana possession charges after a vehicle search. Both offenders remain in the Aiken County jail.

Sherry Reedy, 41, of 811 Laurens St., was arrested at a Graniteville gas station after a 1:45 a.m. altercation with a co worker over job duties. Reedy is held on a third degree assault and battery charge with both women sustaining minor scratches, EMS evaluated the victim.
