LouseBuster could cut lice treatment time for schoolchildren
University of Utah researchers report the LouseBuster blow dryer kills 40 percent of hatched lice and 98 percent of eggs in 169 children, potentially replacing chemical shampoos and nit-picking. The device dries bugs and eggs, with most treatments lasting 30 minutes, and could reach schools within two years.
