Aiken carriage drive showcases horses and history downtown
The Aiken Driving Club held its Fall Weekend Carriage Drive with 20 carriages parading through Aiken, drawing spectators to views of Haflinger ponies and vintage Runabout carriages. Members from Atlanta joined, and community groups like Trinity Nursing Home supported the event, which featured a Victorian Tea Party on Colleton Avenue and plans for a Hopeland Farms country drive.
