Princeton seeks dismissal of Robertson endowment lawsuit
Princeton University asked a New Jersey judge to dismiss a suit filed by descendants of Charles and Marie Robertson seeking to transfer a multimillion dollar endowment to another university. The Robertson foundation funds the Woodrow Wilson School and is valued around 550 million dollars. University officials say the family did not allow adequate time to respond to the complaints before filing. The foundation aimed to bolster U S defense of freedom worldwide.
