Breck Klein will shutter Ingate Professional Pharmacy on Laurens Street on November 21 and join Rural Health Services at the William Clyburn Center for Primary Care as staff pharmacist. Aiken subcommittee of the Augusta Regional Transportation Study will meet at 4 p.m. to consider allocating 350000 for the Whiskey Road Corridor Study. Of this, 280000 comes from federal planning funds, 70000 from County, with City of Aiken potentially matching 70 000.
Aiken County officials meet Thursday to review the Whiskey Road Highway Corridor Study. The 12 mile stretch from South Boundary Avenue in Aiken to US 278 in New Ellenton aims to improve pedestrian safety and traffic efficiency while spanning five to ten years for construction.
