O Donnell campaign video airs despite delay dispute
A half hour ad for Republican Senate candidate Christine O Donnell aired on a Delaware public access channel after delays blamed on the channel by the campaign. Tim Qualls, the independent producer, said the campaign failed to provide video by Friday and delivered it Sunday night, causing the schedule issue. He reported threats from upset supporters and called on the campaign to clarify fault to protect his reputation. The campaign labeled it a misunderstanding and noted the video now runs multiple times.
