Two people died in unrelated weekend accidents in Aiken County. David Heywood 93 of Batesburg was found dead on S C 391 near Monetta after a hit and run with a Chrysler product suspected. James Edward Gish 36 of Jackson died when a van fell on him while he worked under it on Marks Road.

Racing exhibit features Catherine French photographs at Aiken Hall

Catherine French, Camden based photographer and former art teacher, displays award winning racing photos at the Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame and Museum Hopeland Gardens.
