Aiken Woman Charged After Assault On 9-Year-Old
Lataya Monique Chilcen 34 of Natilus Street was charged with unlawful conduct toward a child after an assault in the parking lot of Little Howie's in Aiken. Witnesses said she and an older juvenile forced the victim back into the car and struck her multiple times. The victim cut her hand during the confrontation and the older juvenile faced third degree assault and battery. Chilcen was released on a 5000 bond. the other juvenile was also charged.
