Memorial ceremony honors service members in Aiken area
More than 200 attendees joined a memorial ceremony led by Marine Corps League Detachment 939. Barbara Rollins of the Aiken Area Akademic Band praised patriotism and sacrifice, while Rollins and her husband Roger played Echo Taps. The band had six marchers in the All-County Marching Band and 16 members on a float, with another service planned at Veterans Memorial Park.
