Arrest Made in Armed Robbery Attempt at Deluxe Inn
An attempted armed robbery suspect was quickly arrested by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office on Thursday morning. The incident was reported about 11:10 a.m. at the Deluxe Inn on Edgefield Highway. Suspect James Cordell was arrested shortly before 11:30 a.m. at a gas station, according to scanner traffic.
