Fatal crash on I 20 claims driver from Augusta
Glen A. Sizemore 33 died from multiple body trauma after his 2001 Davis Painting truck overturned on I 20 near mile marker 34 in the westbound lane. He and a seated passenger returned from Fort Jackson, Sizemore may have choked prior to loss of control. toxicology pending. Passenger hospitalized with non life threatening injuries. State troopers investigate whether Sizemore struck another vehicle.

Burglary Reports and Stolen Property Across North Augusta
A burglary on Longleaf Court involved jewelry and money with no forced entry. Nearby on Chesterfield Street a rear window was broken and money jewelry and electronics were stolen. Earlier this week a weed eater hedge clippers and chain saw were taken from a Berry Road home stored outside. A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Steeple Ridge Road.
