A proposed statewide reapportionment approved by the House Judiciary Committee would add 2 190 people to Monetta House District 39 bringing it into northern Aiken County while keeping District 83 in North Augusta unchanged. The plan reshapes Districts 82 84 85 86 with boundary tweaks and creates three wholly within county seats with others shared.
