Multiple public pools and waterparks announce summer openings with hours and admission: Aiken State Park opens this weekend through Labor Day with no lifeguard on duty and $2 for adults, $1.25 for seniors, free for under 16. Richardson's Lake Water Park in Warrenville runs weekends, admission $8 for ages 12+, $5 for military and ages 3–12, free for under 3. Smith-Hazel Pool near Kershaw St NE opens noon to 5 PM Saturday, 1:30 to 5 PM Sunday, then daily with varying hours and fees from $2 to $3.
