Johnston man dies in single vehicle crash
A 119 year old Johnston man named Ricky Marquez Hammonds died at the scene from severe head trauma after the vehicle left the roadway and struck trees in Aiken County. Coroner Tim Carlton confirmed the death occurred around 2 am and stated Hammonds was the rear seat passenger.
