Demorris Harris 24 of Hephzibah Georgia faces kidnapping and two counts of possession of controlled substances scheduled I to V plus grand larceny charges. He remained in Aiken County jail as police pursued a March 30 traffic stop near Martintown Road in which a gun was reportedly aimed at a driver.
Former Strom Thurmond High School principal Christopher Clancy, 70, of Johnston, is charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a child and a sexual offense with a child by an adult. He will appear in Harnett County NC court at 3:30 p.m. Clancy was arrested March 30 and released on a $50,000 bond. Aiken public safety seeks help locating Gregory Bartley, 22, of Aiken, on outstanding second degree burglary and shoplifting charges after a May 14 pharmacy break in. he also tried to steal alcohol from a restaurant.
