Choral Society to sing at Spoleto 2012 in Charleston

The Aiken Choral Society will perform at Spoleto 2012 during Piccolo Spoleto on Saturday June 8 at 3 p.m. at Harbor View Presbyterian Church Charleston James Island. The group earned selection after years of attempting and promises quality from a history of prior appearances. The event is free and part of a seven day festival featuring opera theater dance and music.

NOAA forecasts near normal 2012 hurricane season

The NOAA predicts a near normal six month hurricane season with 6 to 9 named storms, 4 to 8 tropical storms strengthening to hurricanes, and 1 to 3 major hurricanes. Alberto has already formed signaling kickoff.
