Twin girls survive after birth five weeks apart in South Carolina
Amanda and Matt Segura celebrate their fraternal twins Jordyn and Jayden born at Trident Medical Center and Medical University Hospital after a high risk pregnancy that began with a 21 week delivery scare during an October trip to Gatlinburg. Jayden weighed 14 ounces at birth and needed life saving care while Jordyn stayed in the womb longer and was delivered later. Both babies faced early medical challenges but are thriving months later in Colleton County. Doctors credit advanced fetal medicine and faith alongside treatment.
