Advisory board seeks funding for foreign uranium shipments

The SAS Citizens Advisory Board in Savannah unanimously urged adequate funding for handling foreign shipments of highly enriched uranium at the Savannah River Site. The group cited the Atoms for Peace program and noted current funding gaps and cost distribution between agencies and the site.
