Aiken Honors Seniors Through SCORE and Local Events
In May 1963 May was designated Senior Citizens Month by President Kennedy. Aiken celebrates seniors through SCORE affiliated with the Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce and the Right at Home care service. Events include the 2013 Aiken Senior Extravaganza on September 18 with workshops and meals. Contact Kiersten Warfield at the City of Aiken and local aging agencies for information.
