History making presidential jet retired after ceremonial flight
The first jet powered Air Force One, a Boeing 707, ended its service with a ceremonial retirement flight at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton. The aircraft carried Kennedy's body in 1963 and Nixon to China in 1972, later serving as a back up and Air Force Two. It will be on public display at the USAF Museum next month.
