Augusta GreenJackets stadium suites sell out before groundbreaking
The GreenJackets reported sold out high end suites for the new N A baseball stadium in North Augusta ahead of the groundbreaking. Jeff Eiseman of Agon Sports & Entertainment said there are over commitments on suite sales with season tickets priced from 6 to 17 dollars per game, and club seating starting around 1000 dollars per season. The project Riverside Village at Hammond's Ferry includes 280 new apartments a senior living facility over 100000 square feet of office space and a 180 room Crowne Plaza hotel with a beer garden renderings shown. Groundbreaking is set for noon Thursday at the site Visitors with shuttles from the North Augusta Municipal Building and parking deck. The stadium aims to open April 2018.
