Aiken Driving Club Hosts Traditional Driving Day at Katydid Farm
At Katrina Becker's Katydid Farm in Aiken County the Aiken Driving Club held a three phase Sporting Day of Traditional Driving with a country drive, turnour inspection and cones. Trish Chelberg entered two Connemara ponies including a long time carrier from England and Maryland while noting the new Poland made Phaeton carriage. The event gave young horses valuable experience and offered a relaxed atmosphere where JoAN Winslow the club president praised the day as a low key, enjoyable gathering for riders and horse lovers to mingle.
