Band Clinic Shines For Local Sixth Graders In Aiken County

Augusta area woman dies in Graniteville crash

Coroner Tim Carlton identified Susan M. Earley, 54, as the sole occupant of a 1997 Mustang on Chalk Bed Road, westbound. Earley died at the scene after the vehicle left the roadway, went into a ditch, and struck a tree. A toxicology test is pending. this marks Aiken County’s 11th traffic fatality in 2008. The crash is under investigation by Carlton’s office and the S C Highway Patrol.
