Jackson man admits to killing dogs and arson at Third Street home
A Jackson man, Marc-Anthony Rickson Cantrell, 2018, was charged with second degree arson and three counts of ill treatment of animals after confessing to police that he killed his family’s three dogs and set their 205 Third Street home on fire on May 11. Firefighters found three dead dogs inside with injuries and a gasoline odor. Cantrell was arrested and jailed at the Aiken County detention center.
