Dutch Fork High School piled a 585 team total after 36 holes at the Class AAAA state championships and led two time defending champion South Aiken by 15 as the final round began. The Silver Foxes trimmed a one-stroke first round deficit with an even par 288 while South Aiken posted 902 to drop further back.

Aiken County voters will cast ballots July 23 in a four seat council primary after Judge Rodney Peeples ordered the date following U S Justice Department approval of the redistricting plan.
