LSCOG Revises Notices After WPSA Protest Over North Augusta Grant
LSCOG changes its project notification policy after a protest by Rev. Robert L. Boone of the Valley Public Service Authority over North Augusta grant plans. The council approves a second notice sent two weeks before meetings and will notify all regional counties, adding names to the list. The issue centers on the Polo Branch sewer trunk line and objections from the Wildlife and Marine Resources Commission to routing part of the Southwest Interceptor through the Heritage Preserve.
