Doctor says he was fired for praying at patients bedsides

Dr Ju Woong Jung a 51 year old Korean born Baptist filed a civil rights complaint with the state alleging religious discrimination after being fired from St. Luke s Hospital in Toledo in February. Hospital officials said warnings about praying with patients preceded the dismissal and Jung said prayers were with patient consent.

Mitchell C. Sims was sentenced to death for the December 3 1985 double murder at a Hanahan Domino's Pizza where Christopher Zerr and Gary Melke, both 24, worked. The seven man five woman jury delivered the verdict after a short deliberation. Sims had already been sentenced to death in California for another Domino's killing. Tornadoes Turn Schoolmates Into Eyewitness Reporters

Eight year old Andre Reed and 11 year old Clarence Duke Williams survived a tornado that ripped through Williston two weeks ago. The pair, seen on a school TV weather briefing, described the funnel that damaged a mobile home on Halford Street and left an estimated half a million dollars in damage.
