Aiken Regional Appeals DHEC Angioplasty Ban
Aiken Regional Medical Centers filed documents in Columbia to appeal a DHEC ruling prohibiting the hospital from performing angioplasty. The 14 page filing seeks to overturn a hearing officer’s decision upheld by the DHEC board. Administrator Mickey Smith says the court petition argues the ruling was wrongful and biased.
