Aiken considers hospitality tax with restricted spending
City officials proposed a hospitality tax whose revenues would go into an economic investment budget rather than the general fund. Community members urged ballot referendums and other savings ideas while council debated timing and impact and prepared to vote on the 2015 16 budget.
